Welcome to the New Home of the Deeside Dragons

The Deeside Dragons are proud to officially launch a completely rebuilt DragonsIHC.co.uk, marking a huge step forward for the club both on and off the ice.

This isn’t just a new look or a refreshed design. It’s the result of a full ground-up rebuild, creating a modern digital home that is faster, stronger, and built specifically around the way our club operates.

Over the past few seasons, like many grassroots sports organisations, our online systems gradually became spread across different platforms. Ticketing lived in one place, fixtures in another, match night content in another. It worked, but it wasn’t connected, and it often felt like a patchwork of tools rather than one unified experience for supporters.

That’s now changed completely.

The new Dragons website is built as a single, fully integrated ecosystem. Everything works together under one roof, designed to make it easier for fans to follow the team, buy tickets, stay informed, and feel closer to the club.

What makes this launch even more significant is that the entire platform is 100% bespoke. Unlike many clubs who rely on off-the-shelf systems or third-party templates, every part of DragonsIHC.co.uk has been built specifically for Deeside Dragons Ice Hockey Club. From fixtures and match night services to supporter features and club operations, this is a purpose-built digital environment designed around our needs, our fans, and our future.

In fact, the only third-party service running within the website is the secure card payment processing system. Everything else has been developed in-house, giving the club full control over how the platform runs, how it grows, and how it serves the Dragons community long-term.

The rebuild also comes with major improvements behind the scenes. The site is now hosted on dedicated infrastructure, meaning better stability on busy matchdays, faster loading across devices, and a platform that can scale as the club continues to grow.

As a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation, every step forward matters. This new website represents a huge investment of time, effort, and care to ensure the Dragons have a digital home that matches the passion of the people who fill the rink every weekend.
