Away Coach Travel T&Cs

These Away Coach Travel Terms & Conditions apply to all supporters purchasing coach travel through the official Deeside Dragons online store.
By purchasing an Away Coach Travel ticket, you agree to the terms set out below.
Deeside Dragons Ice Hockey Club is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation. Away travel is provided to help supporters follow the team safely, responsibly, and respectfully.
1. Overview
Away Coach Travel tickets are sold for transport only. Travel is subject to availability and operated under specific rules to ensure the safety of passengers, staff, and players.
Supporters are expected to travel responsibly and in a way that reflects positively on the club.
2. Coach Ticket Covers Travel Only
An Away Coach Travel ticket provides coach transport only.
It does not include:
- Entry to the away fixture
- Admission to the rink
- Any match ticket or seating reservation
Supporters must purchase match entry tickets separately unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3. Departure Times and Pick-Up
Departure times, pick-up locations, and expected return times will be communicated via official club channels.
Supporters must arrive on time.
The coach will depart as scheduled and the club cannot delay travel for late arrivals.
No refund will be issued for missed departures.
4. Motorway Service Stops and Return Times
During the journey to and from the fixture, the coach may stop at motorway services for comfort breaks.
Where a stop is made:
- A return time will be clearly communicated by the driver or club officials
- Supporters must return to the coach promptly by the stated time
- The coach must continue to operate to schedule and cannot delay departure for late passengers
Supporters who fail to return on time may be left behind and will be responsible for making their own onward travel arrangements.
No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
5. Supporter Behaviour
All passengers are expected to behave respectfully throughout the journey.
The club reserves the right to refuse travel or remove individuals where behaviour is considered:
- Unsafe
- Disruptive
- Abusive
- Intimidating
- Damaging to the club or its reputation
No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
6. Player Space and Restricted Areas
Supporters must respect the professional environment required by players and staff.
Fans must not enter the rear section of the coach where players are seated.
This area is reserved exclusively for the team and club officials.
Supporters are expected to give players space and privacy, particularly when preparing for fixtures.
Failure to comply may result in exclusion from future away travel.
7. Alcohol, Smoking, Vaping and Prohibited Items
Smoking or vaping is not permitted on the coach at any time.
Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
Excessive alcohol consumption or behaviour that places others at risk will not be tolerated.
The following items are also prohibited:
- Glass bottles or containers
- Flares, smoke devices, fireworks or pyrotechnics
- Weapons or sharp objects
- Any item deemed unsafe by the driver or club officials
The driver and club officials have full authority during travel.
8. Coach Cleanliness and Respect for Transport
Supporters are expected to help keep the coach clean and presentable throughout the journey.
On return to the rink, all passengers must:
- Remove all personal rubbish and bags
- Check their seating area before leaving
- Ensure the coach is left in a clean and tidy condition
Failure to respect the coach environment may result in restrictions on future away travel.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
Away Coach Travel tickets are generally non-refundable, as transport costs are committed in advance.
Refunds will only be considered if:
- The club cancels the coach travel entirely
If an away fixture is postponed or rescheduled, the club will communicate whether travel is transferred or cancelled.
Any refund decision remains at the club’s discretion.
10. Travel Disruption and Liability
While every effort is made to ensure safe and timely travel, the club cannot be held liable for disruption caused by:
- Traffic delays
- Weather conditions
- Mechanical breakdowns
- Third-party venue or authority decisions
Supporters travel at their own risk.
11. Under 18s and Safeguarding
Supporters under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless agreed in writing by the club.
The club does not accept responsibility for unaccompanied minors.
12. Photography, Social Media and Respect
Supporters are reminded that away travel is an extension of the club environment.
Please be respectful when filming, photographing, or posting on social media.
Players and staff should not be recorded in private areas without consent.
Any content that is abusive, intrusive, or damaging to the club may result in future travel restrictions.
